Voice Book is an interactive audio guest book for your guests! Using a vintage rotary phone, guests can leave you voice messages instead of just signing a guest book. After your event, we'll compile all of the messages and send them to you to listen to for years to come!
Even if you don't book Center Stage Productions as your DJ, you can still order the Voice Book experience! We'll send everything to you before your event to achieve a unique guest book experience. After your event is finished, send it back and we'll get you your messages.
All of your messages are delivered to you on a USB drive in a commemorative keepsake box. Other audio guest books have a hefty upcharge for something you can hold in your hands. We also offer a remote line (as an add-on) that guests can call from anywhere in the world to leave messages. These remote messages are also included on the USB drive.

Bellemont will add sophistication and intrigue to any event. Named for a city in Arizona, Bellemont's original home state, impress your guests by adding this phone to your event for that "wow" factor!
Royce is an early 50's era phone. Complete with classic chrome accents, it's a heavy phone that was likely a piece of art when first introduced.
Elizabeth has a royal, elegant feel. Is Elizabeth showing her age? Yes, but we don't like to mention it. We just admire this one for it's simple beauty!
Sykora has one of the more interesting back stories out of all of the Voice Book phones. Built in 1985 in Czechoslovakia, Sykora found it's way to the Cedar Rapids Czech Village. From there we wanted to find the perfect name to keep with the Czech heritage and culture. Sykora Bakery in the Czech Village is one of the most notable Czech names/destinations in the area and we couldn't help but think that it was a perfect fit for this phone!
They don't build them like Winston anymore! Winston is a heavy duty, unique, crank style phone. Even though Winston is built like a tank, he has seen some battle scars. Truly an interesting conversation piece phone!

Jack is definitely a one of a kind phone. There is only the small base that hangs on the custom built industrial exposed brick and hammered grey wall/base. If you will be in an industrial or modern space, Jack will fit right in!
Wyatt is the rugged sibling phone to Jack. Wyatt's base is made of reclaimed barn wood to give a rustic feel. If you are having a barn wedding Wyatt would fit perfectly into the rustic/country wedding and event theme!
Edison might be one of the most vintage phones in the fleet. From the 40's, Edison has some wear and use but will make a great addition to the throwback event!
Daisy fits right between Benjamin and Hayden in color. If your event is using neutral, spring, or fall colors, Daisy would fit perfectly to capture memories from your guests. Add a pop of color to your guest book table with Daisy!

Olivia is an early 80's princess style rotary phone. Olivia is the sister phone to the Brooks. Interesting style with a neutral color sure to fit into nearly any decor for your event!
Rockford is one of the most unique phones in the collection! Rockford is truly self contained travelling in it's own box. Reminiscent of Mad Men or presidential style, Rockford will surely garner interest at your event!
Skye is a sky blue trimline style phone. A different style of phone to fit into your event! Using pastels and light colors for your wedding? Skye will fit in perfectly to capture memories!
Voice Book has a few different configurations depending on the type of event you have:
Physical phone - $375
This is the most popular option where you will have an actual phone available for your event. This configuration works well with weddings, graduations, showers, etc.
Remote - $75 as an add-on
The dedicated remote line is the newest option for Voice Book! The remote line has a custom greeting for your guests when they call. This line is available to anyone with a telephone, anywhere in the world! This is the perfect add-on for weddings or graduation parties where guests won't or can't travel. This gives you the opportunity to hear from out of town guests as well.
For funerals/memorials, the remote line is the only option at request of the funeral homes. The pricing for funerals/memorial lines is $325. The funeral/memorial package will still include the physical USB audio.
What is the Voice Book Interactive Guest Book?
The Voice Book Interactive Guest Book is a vintage rotary phone system that is able to capture your spoken word well wishes from your event. After your event, we'll retrieve the messages from your guests and compile them in an easy to listen to format.
Is Voice Book easy to setup and use?
Yes! We will send a detailed setup instruction sheet along with the other components. If you can build with Legos, you can put together the Voice Book system for your event.
To use Voice Book, it's as simple as the guests picking up the handset, leaving their message, and hanging up. That's it! We even include a framed instruction sheet welcoming guests to your event.
What other events would Voice Book be good for?
Anytime people gather and you want a unique guest book alternative, Voice Book would be perfect! Graduation parties, funerals and memorials, corporate events to get insight on employee feelings, and of course weddings!
How do we let guests know we have Voice Book?
Not only will you receive a framed instruction sheet welcoming guests to your event, but we also include a script for your DJ/emcee to let guests know. It's a good idea to let your DJ/emcee know that you have Voice Book ahead of time to give them a heads up.
How do we receive our messages?
After your event, we'll compile your messages on to a USB drive. From there you can load your audio into a computer, TV, vehicle, wherever USB drives can be used.
Do we replace a traditional guest book?
That's up to you! You can keep your traditional guest book if you want or replace it all together. There are some guests that won't leave messages for you so it could be nice to have a traditional guest book as well. The Voice Book experience is far more fun and interactive!
What condition are the phones/colors?
These are all actual vintage phones from the 1950s-1980s. They are imperfectly perfect! We have done our best to capture the true colors of the phones in the pictures above and may vary slightly in person.
Do we have to use Center Stage Productions as our DJ to get Voice Book? Is it included in Center Stage Productions DJ service.
No. Although we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to be your DJ for your event, it isn't required to be able to use Voice Book. We have multiple units to rent out. Voice Book will be an additional cost to Center Stage Productions' clients. There will be some clients that feel that Voice Book isn't for them, that's why it isn't included in our package. Availability of the phones is subject to change.
How long is the recording that we receive?
It depends on how many guests leave messages. Typically the recordings, once condensed down, are about 20-25 minutes depending on how active your guests are. This is also why we include a DJ/emcee script to remind guests that the Voice Book Interactive Guest Book is available.
Who are the phones named after?
The phones are named after people that have been instrumental to helping us get started with this project as well as pop culture references and the personality of the phones.
What is the cost?
The Voice Book Interactive Guest Book is $325 and includes shipping to you and back to us, the vintage rotary phone and components, and your compiled messages. The remote line add-on is $75.
